Who Am I?

I’m Éabha O’Mahony, a passionate student-athlete currently pursuing a Masters in Sports Administration at the University of Miami after graduating with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.I have been part of the Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team since 2015, making my senior debut in 2019, and have represented Ireland at every youth level from U-15 through U-19, including captaining the U-17 team.

My soccer journey also includes playing at Boston College, where I started 18 matches and logged over 1,400 minutes in my sophomore year. Alongside my soccer career, I’ve always had a deep passion for endurance sports, completing marathons and half marathons and qualifying for the 2025 Hyrox World Championships, a prestigious global fitness competition. I believe in living life to the fullest by embracing discomfort and pushing beyond my limits. I constantly challenge my own boundaries, not just in sports, but in all aspects of life, always striving for growth and self-improvement.

I’m also passionate about sports psychology, and I aim to help others build mental resilience, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential. My academic pursuits and athletic career have taught me the importance of balance, and I’m excited to continue my education with plans to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Miami while continuing my semi-professional soccer career. For me, it’s all about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, living with purpose, and being a positive influence on those around me.
